Third time's a charm. Maybe it could morph into some sort of developmental league. That's be a nice option for "sure thing" guys coming out of high school. They could try the XFL. If they got hurt or it weren't going to make it to the NFL, they could still have their NCAA eligibility. That could stop the problems associated with players not being paid in college.

I read he may be using it for business purposes, and not so much trying to re-start the league. Grabbing stadium contracts, TV contracts, logos, equipment, etc.
That was just speculation, but the theory is sound.

I will say that on a coolness factor, THE ROCK has Goodell beaten so bad that Roger best not even show up to hear the judges' verdict!
