Are there any pitchers who hit 10 in their teens? I don't think that Ruth did.

Just went back to check.  I don't think so.  Guess I didn't have to mention that part.

Only 12 players in MLB history have ever had seasons with 100+ extra base hits.

Nine of the twelve of them did it just once: Ruth, Hornsby, Foxx, Greenberg, Musial, Belle, Bonds, Luis Gonzalez, and Sosa.

Three of them did it twice.  Two of those three are Hall of Famers: Chuck Klein and Lou Gehrig

Who is the only player to have more than 100 extra-base hits in two separate seasons to not be in the Hall of Fame?

Hint: They happened in back-to-back seasons sometime after 1980.

You got it.  Helton managed over 100 XBHs in 2000 and 2001.

Yeah, he had a run where he was over or close to 50 2Bs each year. I know he never got 50 HRs, but figured he had to be close. Throw in an occasional 3B lol.

Shouldve read 4 players with 0, and yes, Biggio is one. I had him on my list, then typed 3 and not 4 lol
