Are tournament titles as accurate as poll titles?

Everyone who watched the Division 2 championship game last night could see that Massillon was the best team in the state. We were cheated on some bad calls and got behind. We dominated the second half and just ran out of time. We did this all without our best player. We would beat Hoban 9 times out of 10. Shouldn't we look at entire season when determining a championship instead of a team who gets a fluke win in a tournament? We were the only team in the state who was winning a playoff game in such a dominating manner that the team just quit with time left on the clock. I am very disappointed that they don't do another poll after week 15. At least no one can take away our 2018 Division 2 Harbin Points State Championship trophy.
