But also….you said after 2 guesses there was only one word left, if wordle had 2 words left wouldn’t their vocabulary be bigger?

It's pretty simple.  Wordle's dictionary contains only about 2500 5-letter words, but accepts many of the 7500 other 5-letter words not in its dictionary as answers.
