New iPhones announced yesterday. I'm not one to have the latest and greatest, but my phone is over 3 years old and I'd like an upgrade.

I'm trying to figure out the best route to do all of the following. Get the best trade in value, obtain an unlocked iPhone 16 Pro, not have the "iPhone forever" lease bullshit. I want to own the phone with no change to my current monthly bill.

I'm seeing all these carriers offering crazy trade in values, specifically ATT, but I'd prefer to stick to T-Mobile.

I think the best way is to just trade in directly with Apple, finance on the Apple CC for the cash back and be done with it.

This is exactly what I do, and they have 0% interest on Apple purchases with the Apple CC.
