I'm a strong type guy , don't get sick, flu or cold very often... but this one kicked my ass
Started in my chest, moved to my bones and joints and end with stomach pain and nausea
I had this for almost a week and still coughing and hacking
Don't think any part of what I had was the flu but I'm at the tail end of a lot of coughing, wheezing, congestion & mucus. Slept 24 hours between Fri/Sat two weeks ago.
I haven't, but I did try to call a friend last night for some late night beers and his wife said he'd been sick with the "flu" the last three days. Could actually be the flu or it could just be a cold that is being called "flu" because it's kept him off his feet for a little while, since people tend to mix up those two things.
Just got back from the doctor myself. I gave my body 5 weeks to beat it but alas I was diagnosed w bronchitis which I think is a fancy name for a chest cold. I was up coughing every night, sure wish I woulda went sooner. I did do a FaceTime doctor visit and got antibiotics for a sinus infection but that did nothing to help my symptoms.
I've had it pretty good in the last 12 months, no colds or other viruses. But reading this thread makes me feel like I have something coming on .....
