Seriously, I am the one who keeps track of the kid's schedule, make most of our social plans and in general know what's going on. I make a lot of the decisions, but I also know when I need to run things by him. He doesn't need nor want to be bothered with minor details. I guess you could say I'm the perfect wife.

She tries to and we butt heads somedays. She turns small things into big things in her mind and convinces herself that I am sleeping with as many women as Tiger and Jesse. If I get a text from a girl about work or something its automatically I'm cheating. It gets old after a bit. She spends way too much money on shit that she thinks she needs but I don't see the releveance. But she is a great mom and she gives me brain all the time, my laundry smells good, dinners are delicious and to my specs most of the time. Overall I think we give and take pretty evenly.

Happy wife, happy life is a complete fallacy. Simply because one person in a relationship is happy doesn't automatically equate to a good partnership/marriage.

The two leading causes of divorce are issues relating to money and sex. Both require quality communications in order for both people to be content. Thinking a wife will be the ideal mate and result in a happy life for you simply because she's happy is a BIG mistake. There's just a little more to it than that.

^^Notice the winking smiley face? It works both ways. When my husband does little things for me, it makes me happy and I in return want to make him happy. No, you can't base your whole marriage on that, but the general thought behind it surely doesn't hurt. Besides, "Happy husband, happy life" doesn't rhyme.

Neither does "happy husband, buried wife", but I like the sound of it.

Yes I noticed your winking smiley face. My comments were not a response to your post but rather an expansion of it with my own views.

In my house, I tell my wife what she can and can't do. I also go out any night I please, drink as much beer as I want and look at any woman I please. Why just the other day my wife asked me to take out the trash and I told her that was woman's work.
