I don't know about the bake sale, since my baking skills are not up to par, but maybe I'll can start selling candy bars door to door.

I just think at night well day also but with 4 corner lights at night illuminating it.Well that would be so ominous looking.Does anyone else agree and can anyone else see this?

Putting lights in the corners was a bad idea. The quarterback can't see the receivers as well and the receivers can't see the ball. And definitely for sure, we need lights again in the middle of the visitors' side. That portion of the field is dark.

I was talking about my fictitious sign that's going to be hanging behind the new bleachers facing krogers. All or most visitors parking in krogers and walking to the stadium would see it.What I was trying to say was put lights pointing in on four corners of the sign to light it up at night.I think that would look nice.

Now I understand. Yes, that is a good idea.

Another Item worth considering is available parking after Krogers installs their new gas pumps. My guess is parking will be at a premium. Those station Islands consume a lot of space. In the past, Krogers has always been generous with their parking lot; you can't give what you no longer have.
Cheers.

Actually, when Krogers first built the store there, they tried to restrict parking for football games. Bad move. Their customers were furious and Krogers lost a lot of business. They finally had to back down and agree to let people park there for the games.

When will the school make official announcements about Rally in Death Valley and the game at Woodland Hills against McKeesport? I keep hearing that these games are done deals, but there has been no mention in the Herald Star or WTOV9. Of course, the HS never posted our original schedule when the school released it a couple of months ago, so I don't have much faith in them.

I think they are waiting for a contract to be signed to actually call it official. Tickets have to be redone and added to the packets. Its all a done deal, but need to wait.

Fairwood,
Did the school release the schedule? Just because WTOV had it means nothing because they needed the schedule for the game of the week purposes. I'm not pining for the HS, but with all the rumors flying about for months about the schedule and who will they will and will not play and where they will and will not play them, what were they to release. Even though the football schedule was set, the football schedule was never set, you know. Does the HS announce each rumor each week?

Yes, the school released the schedule back in April. That's when Channel 9 announced it. The two rallies are very recent changes to the schedule.

I know this is a football blog, but I need a personal favor. I’m planning to move back to Steubenville and buy a house there as soon as my home in Seattle is sold. My problem is that my house is not selling as fast as I had hoped. I need to move back to Steubenville as soon as possible because I am applying for teaching positions at the local colleges and I must be there for interviews.

I need to rent a room somewhere in the Steubenville area for a month or two (although it could go longer depending on how long it takes to sell my house). I’m not looking for anything expensive, just something clean and convenient. I only have two requirements: first, no cats. I am deathly allergic to them. Secondly, I would have to have a computer cable installed (at my expense, of course).

The room doesn’t have to be in Steubenville. It could be anywhere in the valley. I have already looked on Craigslist but to no avail. I also plan to run an ad in the Herald Star.

If anybody here has a room available or knows of someone who does, please send me a PM.

Thanks!

FWK. The Merchanette is a local buy sell trade paper that has many listings of rentals. I don't know if this is available online. Maybe someone could send you a copy. The Merchanette covers the Steubenville area.

Does that mean we're not playing McKeesport in week 2?
