Mom's side- 100% Irish.
Dad's side- 75% Irish, 15% English, and then a mix of Czech, German, Scot, and Swiss for the last 10%.

I get what you're saying and as far as that goes, I agree.

But the question relates to ancestry meaning where are your ancestors from?
- unless you're 100% N.A.
I'm assuming your N.A. references Native Americans

There is no such thing as 100% Native American.

Look it up.

Are not Canadians also American? Don't they reside in the Americas?

I'm a U.S. Citizen which is even more than an American.

Second generation from Italy and Hungary.

The heritage is red, white, and green...so is the food.

What cracks me up about when people are all proud of where they think they came from is that people have always moved. So just because your great grandfather was from Italy for example, it doesn't mean that his mother and father were, or that your family has "always" been from there.

To me I find these morons that go around claiming they are "Irish", "Italian", "Polish", etc..really irritating. If you and your parents were born here, then you're "American".

Glad you cleared that up. When I first read about your mom's side of the family flashes of the movie Deliverance kept going through my mind.
