Lee needs to do Counting Crows songs. And Crystal shouldn't be on this competition, she should be out doing her own thing and coming up with her own music. If/when she wins, they'll try to fit her into a stereotype and I don't think it'll work.

I was thinking the same thing about Crystal last night. It sort of reminded me of when Chris Daughtry was on the show. It was as if they are too good to be here. There have been some suggestions over the years that the Daughtry early exit was rigged so he could do his own thing. Could we see the same thing with Bowersox?

Reuben was quite a bit better than Big Mike.

Crystal is very good and multi-talented. The first guy who went tonight though has is pretty good, as well, and getting better every week. He's got great tone to his voice.

Casey actually has a recording voice as well. He lacks the creativity of the other two, but if he gets people to write songs for him he'll be alright.

Dweeby munchkin has a pretty good voice, too. I don't think you can find fault with getting the shot, but I think he'd have been better off to have waited a few years. The world doesn't need another Clay Aiken.
