I can see where they are considered thrash, but at the same time they have a very hardcore sound. It reminds me of an old hatebreed and also another hardcore band called Madball

Im honestly not familiar with me....the little hardcore background I have is due to my roommate last year whose favorite genre was hardcore so I know a lot of those bands.

I hear no hatebreed or madball in that either. not sure where you got that. Not really chunky enough riffs and nowhere near similar vocals. their a thrash band with with huge hardcore punk influences, which is what bay are essentially was. Yeah I'm sure there huge dri fans.

if you are talking about good thrash, you have to throw machine head into that conversation The Blackening was one of the best metal CD's in quite some time.

Speaking of thrash, Exodus is still going strong. Through FB, I got a free download of a Nuclear Blast sampler and one of the songs was by them. Pretty kickass.
