Logan won 21-7..but the Tigers were in still in the game midway through the 4th quarter..I believe it was still 7-7 at that point. Ironton just made a couple mistakes that ended up costing them the game.

I heard all about the LOGAN/IRONTON game and for the Tigers to give a very, very good Logan team a game that should give most Heath fans a clue as to what they will run into.

I would think any D4 school would have enough holes for Angle to tear'em up through the air. Are Irontons D-backs that good or did Angle have an off night for some reason?

I was told that the Ironton defense stayed home and had crazy pressure on the talented QB from Logan and put him down a few times.

I am one of the fans who was there could tell you more than I was told.

Can anyone from the Nelsonville area tell me the best route to take to get to Zanesville after the game? I'm heading to the "Burg" for the Steelers - Bengals game on Sunday.

I was gonna go to Coffman and Westerville South but I think I'll make the 1 1/2 hour trip to take this one in now. Could be an upset.

Almost called this one right. I couldn't get to the game but heard Heath had more than one opportunity to win this game in the fourth quarter. How about some high points somebody. Good luck Ironton, looks like you've got Coshocton next.

I am working on a game report for this one butwanted to say Heath proved me wrong tonught. When Ironton hit them they stodd toe to toe with them and played hard nosed the entire game.

As I set on the Ironton side with a big group of my Ironton friends I thought wow the Heath faithful are loud, very loud. They actually reminded me of the great fans over at Licking Valley.

I am sure the great people who put the Ironton web site out will have a lot of great things on it from this game. I talked to the main man tonight and let him know of this great website and wanted to make sure everyone knew of his great one.

The kicking game killed the Bulldogs tonight.

Ironton ran the ball all night long. I think they might have had one forward pass. If not for a fumble and a untimely penalty they very easily could have had 14 more points.

I know it's easy to second guess decisions, but I really hated to see a trick play like that in OT. Heath's offense was their calling card all year, and they basically were in 4 down territory. Even if they had gotten five on third down, they would have still been in a very managable 4th down situation.

I would have liked to see them take a shot at the end zone with 10 seconds left in regulation as well.
