Boys always pack the gym more, compared to the girls but I hope the fans get seated together, a little better. Last weekend fans for every team were scattered on both sides.

I will be. I think the whole point is fans of schools will pay to sit behind a basket and watch their team. But impartial fans would not pay to sit behind baskets. It brings more fans into the arena, most likely. The more the fans the better, for everybody. And you can still get "into" the game. Just don't let it bother you. Go Riders!

Pit, was Kiper the coach? I'm thinking it was someone else. Looked at the team picture at OHSAA, but couldn't tell for sure.

I think you are right. I didn't see Kiper there, either. It may have been the following season he started coaching there. #44 Ousley from that Clear Fork team was an animal.

Thanks for posting that picture, not.
It does give me a chance to make fun of Ousley for his fair though. And Hoover and Delaney for being the only two smiling.

The coach was the tall guy on the left end , Logsdon maybe?

I'd sit between rider80 and bigp/series62 to see it happen.
Consider yourself topped.

What if I would add that he had been to Coccia House the night before?

Then I'd wonder why I wasn't invited. Coccia House is Coccia house.
If it were my having just eaten Coccia House...I wouldnt have anyone sitting within several rows of me.

While we're talking about pizza and Columbus, I'll be getting my favorite pizza on Friday night - Hound Dogs. It is just down the road from the Shott, on Lane. Just turn right out of the North parking lot from the Schott, go through the 1st light (and maybe a 2nd?), and the road will turn into a 1-way and head uphill slightly. Before you get to the main street, there will be a small parking lot on the right, which is technically BEHIND Hound Dogs. It's a 24-hour pizza place, a unique/dark atmosphere, and the pizza is AWESOME! Make sure you get the Smokin' Joe sauce.
If you want to meet up, let me know. My dad and I wouldn't mind. The bad thing is that they have one TV in the whole place, and its picture is really bad, so last year the March Madness games didn't come in well. One half is just the pizza place (where I go), the other half, while still the pizza place, is completely separated as a bar with pool tables and such.

For more food ideas.....Have not had Hound Dogs.....I will give it a try. Hard to top Tommy's Pizza..the one on Lane Avenue about 1/2 mile west of the Schott, and if you have not had Cane's Chicken fingers you are missing something....local cops in Columbus call it "Crack" chicken because it hooks you like cocaine. It is in the Shopping Plaza just north of the football training center on Olentangy. You can buy a few pieces or a couple hundred (call ahead). Gotta give kudos to that find to former Red Rider and current Police Sgt Jim Haley of C-town. I'm gettin' hungry!

Concerning the Clear Fork Team from 2002 and the picture posted. The Head Coach (far left) is Kevin Logsdon. He left the next year and has been the Head Coach at Hilliard Davidson since. Kiper came to Clear Fork to replace Kevin. Next to Kevin is Mike Delaney. He left CF and became the Head Coach at Utica and is now the Head Coach at Big Walnut. Ousley went to Otterbein where he played 4 yrs and his last year he was named to the Div 3 All-American Team (3rd Team I believe). He played some pro ball in Europe for a few years, but I think he is living in the Columbus area now. Hope this helps.

Rider fans are knowledgable and zealous for their teams to do well. And supportive of the athletes win or lose. You have to look far and wide to find another town in Ohio who has the entire population support their high school sports teams the way Red Rider fans do.
Now here is an important question...does anyone know if Mrs. J's will be open Thursday? I might find myself oveer that way and would love some sausage gravy but don't want to look foolish pulling on a locked door.
Go Riders!!!!
