Playoffs? I prefer the front court of Shaq, Varejao, Jamison, and Hickson. Sure Z can hit an open jumpshot.... but so can Jamison. You need a guy underneath the hoop now that we have a stretch 4. My issue with Z is that Z is a statue defensively. Howard ate his lunch last year in the playoffs.
A crowded rotation just got more crowded. There goes some more of Hickson's minutes.

As for Jackson, some of you are right, he probably wouldn't see much playing time next year either, but he might have had some decent trade value. They could have moved him for another piece.
Jamison is mediocre from outside of 16 feet. Z can and does stretch the floor. Early on this year, Z's shot was off. But after that, he was really good.
I would love big Z to take 15 monutes or so from Jamsion. With Z on the court, the floor is truly stretched. With Jamison, not so much.
As for rebounding, Z can still clean glass. As another poster said, Z still gets tip ins.
If I didn't know any better your posts make me think you are Z's mama and Jamison was taking your boys spot on the team. To call Jamison mediocre from long range is just biased.
I posted a link which showed the deficiency in Jamison's shooting from 15-18 feet, 19-22 feet, and behind the arc. You might perceive my posts to be biased, but they are in fact, the stats.
If I would dig up the stats link, and then post his mediocre shooting percentage numbers, would you agree with my post ? Obviously, you wouldn't. Because very few on these Cav threads believe the numbers that the NBA provides.
My opinion on Jamison, or any other player in pro sports, is based on the bottom line productivity numbers. I don't buy into any fluff that the media tries to shove down the fans' throats.
Like I said, if you want me to dig up the links proving that Jamison is a mediocre shooter from beyond 16 feet, then I'll do it. But if I do it for the 3rd time here, I don't want to be called biased by you and your cabel of Jamison lovers. Deal?
