You shouldn't have to belong to a nice club to practice proper etiquette, especially in a sport such as golf.

If you don't know the etiquette then please, stay at your courses that charge $20 for a round and have greens harder than concrete.

it doesn't have to be a higher up golf club.. if you're at a range where you hit off of grass and they rotate tee boxes to repair the ground, you need to follow etiquette... whether its a country club or a muni course.

Does this mean that you get angry when I leave my empty beer cans on the greens?

No, I just consider the source in this instances.. It'd be like getting mad at a woman for being indecisive.

No, “this” is correct. There’s an inadvertent “s” on the end of instance.

Actually either way it was a mistake. You should know all about mistakes. That's what your parents refer to you as.

Hardly minuscule. Proper etiquette is not suggested, but required at courses. It's only minuscule if you have no regard for others.

If it was required, then we wouldn't be having this conversation. Now would we?

Do they post what your op says at golf courses? No.

Every course has a sign telling you to follow proper golf etiquette.
We're having this conversation b/c people are ignorant to proper etiquette.

I don't think a lot of people know that about taking divots at ranges, that's why they don't do it.

I belong to a country club back home in Youngstown, and I can tell you that even though the people that are members there are pretty wealthy and know etiquette, they don't know how to properly divots on the range, the only person I've seen take them properly are the club pros and my friends dad who has been club champion something like 13 times.

THIS explains what I was trying to say. You're not as stupid as I am, so you did it better. NO ONE knows that damn etiquette rule, so complaining about it is stupid.

I dunno man, my Thadeus Gibson comment was pretty fucking stupid on my part hahaha so....

But yeah, it's definitely not something to complain about, no offense Zwick, just because it's something that people don't even know.

Hell, if I didn't bug the hell outta the club pros everytime I saw them on the range the same time as me, I never would have known that you're supposed to put the ball right behind the divot.

Another thing is, people assume that they HAVE to hit off a fresh piece of grass with no divots around in order to maximize their range session, oh well.

Like I said, nothing to be too upset about, even when I'm in a spot where other people have been I can't remember the last time they absolutely wasn't any clean spots to use.

There's a proper etiquette, and when in Rome, you do as the Romans.

If that's a problem for you, stay the fuck outta Rome.
