Let me explain proper driving range etiquette, so that you don't annoy the fuck outta people who do know and follow proper driving range etiquette.
If you're taking a divot, you should move each ball to the back of your previous divot. Your next shot will then only take a slight amount of new grass because your new divot will be into the previous divot. This creates a straight line that gradually moves backward. Once you've created a line backward in the teeing area, move up next to the front of the line you created and start again.
If you're putting the ball in a clean patch each time and digging a beaver pelt, you're destroying the hitting area unnecessarily because you're taking out an entire divot size patch each time.
And you'll annoy the fuck outta me when I have to hit from your spot of 100 divots.
