Jamigoat didn't have his Jamigoat game on last night, not so hot under the rim, missed a lot of tip ins/layups. Not a worry though.
Poony has plenty of flaws in his game. I don't mind the man getting 20 minutes a game...but that's about it. And please coach Brown, do not have this guy on the court in crunch time...ever.
People point out legitimate flaws in LeBron's game all the time. You know what I tell them? Look at the stat sheet and GTFO.
I'm not saying I don't agree with your 20 minutes a game deal (I'd like to see us go through him in the 1st half for points, which is what we've been doing) but you always talk about him like he sucks. I know you post stats and you try to talk about how factual you are but your bias shows through in a big way. You just don't like the guy, we get it. But it's just immature for lack fo a better term to not give him his due just because you have some issue with him. He's a good ball player. You don't put up the numbers he has in his career with many flaws.
I do have a problem with a guy that misses way too many wide open jump shots. Other teams have read the book on him, and they let him shoot out there. The same thing with Rondo....nobody covers him from outside 15 feet.
My opinion is that he also is a liability on the defensive end. That is my opinion from what I've seen.
And it seems that the 4th quarter brings out the lesser of him. Blowing uncontested layins from him seem to happen too frequently in crunch time. There is also the "hack a PoonTawn" that will surely come into play, unless he starts shooting them the way he has in the past.
I admit, he's not nearly as bad as I have portayed him out to be. But the series of threads that turned bloody was my over reaction to those that honestly believe that the addition of this guy would send us over the top. I disagree with that assessment...and my take is that even though he's a decent player, he does not improve the Cavs power ratings, or the overall team strength.
He does not fit the definition of a true stretch 4...because he is very average/mediocre when it comes to shooting the ball beyond 15 feet..especially given the fact that the other team doesn't guard him out there and dares him to shoot..
