My wife surprised me with tickets to Ohio States first game of the B10 turny as a birthday gift. We may stay for another but not sure yet.

Anybody got any info on good places to eat? Any good local establishments?

Big Ten Tourney is a great time, went all four years I was in school w/ the band. Find a local bar around Conseco, it will be packed with Big Ten fans, you're sure to have a great time.

Thanks Fred

Fab: I think I will keep her around! It's been a great 13+ years, besides that I can't afford a divorce! :)

St. Elmos...if you can afford it. The best steakhouse in the midwest imo. Drove up from Bloomington 7 times over 4 years for dinner there. Absolutely divine steak! They are famous for the shrimp cocktails if you like shrimp.

If you stay for the night I would suggest checking out the howl at the moon. It should be a great time there with the dueling pianos etc because of the diverse fanbases that will be there.

Otherwise, local bars around Conseco are always fun.

They also have a Fogo de Choa and Ruths Chris steakhouse.

Darby: hoping for another lock out next year, I getting tired of scrubbing the bottom of the boats again!

Not real familar with Indy, so thanks for all the dinning tips we'll have pick one or two.

Wow!!! St.Elmos looks pricey.... Doable... but pricey

As I said, if you can afford it. BUUUUUT well worth the money. It has been rated the top steakhouse in the midwest 3 times and has been in the top 10 steakhouses in the country 9 times, including 2009.

It is absolutely delicious.

After checking some of these out online last night, we decided we might not be dressed quite right for St. Elmos or something similar so I think we will hit up Palaminos. It looks like a good choice Thanks everybody for the info
