I'm suprised as well. I thought he deserved atleast a 2game suspension.

Very much a cheap shot by Cooke. Can't believe he wasn't suspended at all for that. League needs to get rid of stuff like this and all blows to the head.

^^^^I'm pretty sure thats what they talked about the most in this weeks GM meeting along with what the new CBA might be.

Cooke got away with it because there were two similar incidents this year and neither player received a suspension. FYI, the GM's proposed a new rule outlawing these kind of hits, needs approval by the board/owners and the players association. I expect it to be fully implemented next year.
