Man, there is a lot of shaking going on so far this year. 5.9 according to the USGS. I guess this is normal, though. Huh, I didn't know that.
He said scientists often see strong quakes but they don't get reported because the damage or death toll is minimal. According to USGS data, the world is hit by about 134 earthquakes a year in the 6.0- to 6.9-magnitude range — or about two a week.

Pretty crazy if you ask me. Seems like they have to be related in some way or another. I would be on watch if I was in California or Alaska for one, they are pretty much due. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

It is normal to see a ton in this range throughout the year.

The two in Haiti and Chile aren't necessarily normal, but it isn't anything to be worried about, the world isn't falling apart.

We should stop drilling into the surface of the Earth. Obviously we are upsetting the gnomes that live under the surface. :D There will be a group for that, just watch. Either that or someone needs to tell Al Gore to stop walking.

Wasn't there one conspiracty theory that the US government created the earthquake in Indonesia and the sunami that followed with our "new earthquake weapon" stationed in Alaska or something?

Maybe I'm combining a couple conspiracies into one, I seem to remember the Alaska thing is a weather creating machine and caused Katrina or something.

I think it's obvious. Under Siege 2 wasn't just a movie, it was a warning. You better watch out or "they" will turn their earthquake satellite on you. Uh, oh, I've said to much. They'll be visiting me now. Everyone think of me when I'm in jail. :P

Yeah, don't be surprised if Hugo Chavez doesn't come out and accuse the U.S. of using an "earthquake weapon."

Sorry to tell ya, but you won't make it to jail. Although, you will end up in a cold, dark and square(ish) place.

Have a nice day!
