How many of you guys are snorer's? If so, have you ever taken any steps to control it? My gf is constantly pushing and kicking me in the middle of the night to shut me up. I'm thinking about buying one of those throat sprays thats supposed to help reduce snoring at night. Any thoughts?

No, but the GF did when she had this sinus infection and I thought it was hilarious.

I'm a big time snorer. I've never taken any steps to correct it and yes, I to get beat up in the night by my fiancé. Maybe it's time.

Yes, it's called sleep apnea (in me). If I didn't sleep with a CPAP machine I'd probably be dead.

I'm VERY bad at this. Just the other night..my son slept in our bed..he woke me up about 3 times telling me to shut up. When we visit my parents..my mom and little nephew sleep in the living room on a couch..and I sleep on one of the other couches...and he wakes her up all the time telling her to tell me to be quiet. LOL So yeah..I'd say it's pretty bad. But I haven't ever done anything about it.

For those who do snore, if you have a friend/family member that goes to bed after you, you may want to have them monitor your sleeping habits. Not everyone who snores has sleep apnea. If you snore and stop breathing in small spurts you likely have it. Symptoms can be chronic fatigue, memory issues, etc. Sleep apnea killed Reggie White so if you have doubts, you may want to get it checked. The machine has made a WORLD of difference to me.

You sound just like my wife on that one. LOL I told her I was going to get the camcorder out and video tape her sleeping.

Its a vicious cycle. My snoring wakes her up and pisses her off. Her hitting wakes me up and pisses me off. I might try the breathing strips or sprays. I figured its worth a couple bucks to avoid getting elbowed in the ribs all night.

I don't really know because anytime I sleep with someone I fall asleep long after they do. I assume I do, but don't know for sure.
