He got a certified letter that wasn't what he thought it would be, then the site has to change names all of a sudden. I'd say he got a strongly worded "request" to change the name of this site from someone.

There are no copyright or name infringements with the name freehuddle. That's like saying anyone with ****Huddle is infringing on JJHuddle.

I just searched the online copyright records. There are a ton of them with huddle in the name.

That's why I'm thinking it is far more than just the domain name.

There has to be something else in play because legally he isn't violating any copyright laws just because "huddle" is in the domain name. There are tons of website names that have that, so that is hardly a basis for having to abandon the domain name.

They must be getting desperate for sure though.

I would imagine they are trying to get some money from what they lost as well as getting this place shut down, because they can't possibly think that if this place is gone that we will go back there.
