my fiance is driving to manassas va/dc area tommorrow and i wanted to know if anyone had any tips on how to get over there...she'll be starting out at the first turnpike exit all the way in the northwest corner of the state...mapquest shows turnpike all the way through and past pittsburgh till she'll hit I-70? seem about right? she's got a gps but thought one of you might have an insider tip maybe...

Pay attention in Breezewood. It is weird to navigate around.

-Yeah, the GPS will be helpful for the first time through Breezewood
-PA state police shouldn't bother you on the TP as long as you keep it under 80 mph
-Once you get into MD most people will be doing 75+ mph
-I 270 S and the beltway can get pretty congested on Sunday nights.
