Golf is so horribly boring to watch. I mean, it's almost painful to watch.

Well you are obviously biased, which is why you can't seem to fathom why lacross is on the list.

I personally would add baseball to the list, and can add a vote from me to that.

yes i am biased, but it just seems like that is an outlier from that list..fast paced and high scoring

soccer is not high scoring, takes forever for someone to score
nascar is cars going in a circle
fishing..well it may be fun to do, but not watch others do
bowling...its the same thing over and over, i think bowling is fun and enjoyable, but not to watch someone else
tennis and golf..i dont mind watching these, but they take forever so i can lose interest after a while

Yeah and for someone who is completely neutral to lacrosse, it really is a pretty boring sport to watch on tv. A lot of standing around and pointless running that doesn't go along well when someone isn't interested in the sport.

Well, I'm in the defensive end, the offense loses the ball so I run 50 yards so that I can stand around and set up the stand around offense where I throw the ball around.

I'm not denying it wouldn't be entertaining, but once again that's like saying watching a hole in one in golf would be awesome and using it to say that golf isn't boring. Those games like the one you showed in lacrosse rarely happen.

there are about 3-4 OT games every week

and i respect your opinions that it is boring to watch on tv, i guess what i was originally getting at is the other are much more boring to watch...and that lacrosse doesnt necessarily belong in this list

Yeah, and I respect your opinion but that is still a biased opinion with regards to it being on this list. I find tennis to be more exciting to watch than lacrosse but does that mean it shouldn't be on the list?

This is a very difficult choice at first glance, because for me several of these are really boring to watch. Soccer is extremely boring to me because of the length of the game and the incredibly low scores. NASCAR is boring. I mean, you're watching cars go round and round and round. It's enough to make you want to chew your arm off. Accidents are a little more interesting but I really don't want to see anyone injured or killed so NASCAR is not my cup of tea. Now if you would go into the crowd and interview some of the most hardcore fans, then that would have a pretty good chance of being entertaining. I think, however, to answer the question the way it was asked in the thread, there is no doubt for me that fishing is on the very bottom of the list. It makes soccer scoring look excessive. Well Fred, here we are on the boat and...................." As for tennis, I enjoy watching two good players compete and Golf is interesting at times although I wouldn't spend an afternoon watching it.

I feel a lot of people that hate soccer hate it simply because they don't understand it. Sure they may not score much, but when they do it's usually because of a damn good play was made. The goals that are scored usually get the highlights and stuff, but it's the play that leads up to that that makes it exciting as well.

Hockey.... I love watching it in person and in the Olympics but other than that I can't stand it
Bowling.... Do people actually watch this on TV?
Nascar..... I lose interest during the middle of the race but the end usually seems to be exciting
Lacrosse..... Not too bad but I usually lose interest and turn the channel
Baseball/Golf.... I usually turn it on when I'm doing my homework, they are both sports you usually don't have to pay a lot of attention to but you can catch the highlights.
tennis...... never been a fan so I have never watched it
