In honor of the silver anniversary of the Jordan brand, Carolina will don unis that will be without Carolina Blue tonight.

The blue will be replaced by silver, and there will be silver shoes.

Senior night, no sell out, and no powder blue.
Someone check to see if Hell froze over.

Duke tried this sliver junk on its sleeves for the MSU game in '04 or '05 (the jerseys were throwbacks not too unlike the ones we wore circa '95). But the whole jersey? A bit much.

Can't blame Roy for bringing out all the stops, however. Gotta maintain .500 ball.

Nike is terrible, I have no idea why young people eat up their crappy products. I tried Nike running shoes once, it was poorly designed and poorly manufactured. I'm a pretty loyal Asics guy now. At least it is a company dedicated to bringing quality to its customers.

I show some of my bball players the jerseys and the Dwade shoes and their responses were

"Those are ballin"
"Tight"
"ohh say that"

I don't get it. What in the heck is appealing about this? I get oregon, they have pretty sweet digs. But these carolina jerseys are awful. the shoes, horrible as well. I am convinced urban youth are so label centric they are blind to appearances.

That's not the jersey they wore tonight.

I don't mind the jersey they wore tonight, BUT DO NOT WEAR THEM FOR A GAME. Let them just be a fashion jersey.

That was as close as I could find to the jersey they wore tonight. The link was being pushed on the WRAL boards. Sorry I couldn't find an absolute pic, but it was close wasn't it?

It's somewhat similar. It's more of a Jordan Brand jersey, not the Carolina jersey.

It looks basically like this jersey but silver.

With the way the team played tonight, those things better be hanging in their closet, never to return.

They weren't too bad, I guess, but the lack of Carolina blue left me wanting something more. I know it's a silver anniversary theme, but I would have liked to have seen at least a little Carolina blue.

I know what the jersey looks like now, I watched the game. I posted that link hours before it started. The jerseys hadn't been seen by the public yet when I posted.

If the NIT finds in its heart to give Carolina a bid, they better get it together and make it to NYC.

What I saw tonight makes me think that they'll make an early exit wherever they end up in the post-season, but it would be nice to see some form of momentum built before the off-season begins.

The jersey you posted sells for $300 and only 500 are being sold. I'm sorry, but NO jersey is worth $300; unless MJ signed it of course lol
