I think it is going to be a great game. PC definately has their work cut out. HD wins unless PC can get a score or 2 from either special teams or turnovers. HD may be too dicipline for the tigers.

I can't wait for this one! Physical, Physical, Physical football teams! Should be a great one!

I've been impressed with Davidson's D. One of the trademark atributes of a Davidson team is that its Defense gets better each week and the whole team seems to peak in the post-season. The starting offense hasn't had the reps that they typically would have by this time of year, so I worry a little about conditioning on O (especially with the backs).

Central is a really good program and, if they eliminate penalties, can be a tough team to beat. Not having seen them since week 1, how is their speed on offense? I worry about Davidson's defensive speed to the outside and worry about PC hitting the corners.

I'll go ahead and say it.... the winner of this game is favored in Week 13.

PC has really good offensive speed that could pose a problem for HD. But the thing that will take HD over the top is that if the offense can control the ball for most of the game. I think that with the ball control offense that coach white preaches.

I really think that this will be a great game, but the weather will not be a factor b/c it is going to be played on turf which could show off some of the speed that PC has.

HD wins, but it will be close

The stadium has not been renovated. Seating is the same.

FOC,

As Bayside said, the Tigers have a lot of speed on offense and defense. You will probably see the spread a few times on Saturday. I am confident they will get receivers behind your secondary a few times. I just don't know if the qb's will see them.

They will use 5 or 6 different running backs. I'm just not sure they can get into your secondary with regularity. If #4, #7, #20 or #34 can get to daylight, they will take it to the house.

Unfortunately, the Wildcat offense will problably control the clock and prevent the Tiger offense from getting many opportunities.

This should be great game. I also agree the winner has a great chance to win the region.

Go Tigers!

Thanks for the update Banddad!

The Tigers will have a big advantage with their speed come Saturday. Sharrett already had his team working on the deep ball last week against a weaker North secondary. There was one deep pass completely dropped in the endzone at the end of the first half and a fair few more were 'barely' out of reach throughout. The beauty of the deep ball threat is that it will open up the running game (RB nickname --> Speedy) and short passes. I know #9 has a few quick hits that turned into long TD passes because he did most the work. I think both offenses will have more success against each other this year, with the Tigers coming out with the 'W'.

Go Tigers!

From the sounds of it, the game will be decided by Davidson's secondary and Central's passing game. If the Tigers are able to connect and loosen up the D, it will have a significant impact on how this game is decided. As many have already said, the weakness of this years Cats' defense is the secondary.

Should be an excellent high school football game between two of central Ohio's best.

I think I told Smile, not sure about pc tigers. I was sending PM's to everybody that I could. I eventually found out that JJ was blocking the site name so I'm sure some of the PM's I sent got blocked. My last few days on there are a blur.

Brother D-Day, Brother Bluto. What are you doing here?

Sorry I'm late but I made it!! Thanks to my buddy Walt guiding me.

It was getting awfully quiet over there. Will have to get info to Beast.

Go Tigers!!!! This should be a classic game of two teams willing to fight for that inch! LOL (Any given Sunday.)

HD will do what they always do in the BIG GAMES. They will control the clock, play lights out D, and break some big plays with their great running game. Look for Jake and Spencer to be the season veterans that they have become. The pass rush and linebacker play will be the difference in this ONE!
HD 20
PC 10
Go Cats!!!

Hammer time for the Tigers. Like everyone has already stated, the key is for Davidson to have to play catch up. We hit them hard early and stay RELENTLESS. Open the playbook coach and it's the Regional finals for the Tigers.

Cthelites: Glad to see you made it over. I haven't had DiCarlos since the night of our freshman game at Darby.

So how's your boy doing? Is he ready for wrestling?

PS: Look at that.... a Darby fan rooting for the Cats. You notice there aren't a lot of Pick North fans here cheering for the Tigers. Then again I don't see any Pick North people on this board.
