I know, I know. This is a silly tournament but what the hell, it's a slow month for sports and I'm not an olympic guy. Besides, who wouldn't love to see Coach K and Huggs go at it? Or Jim Boeheim and Rick Pitino? C'mon.

By the way, Pat Summitt was suggested but I figured she'd run away with the tournament, spoiling the fun for everybody. So without further ado, scroll down the right sidebar and peruse the first round matchups. Have at it kids.

Nice site. I have to go with Frank Martin of Kansas State overall. Dude's a madman. As for the first round matchups, don't you think Bo Ryan would completely destroy Coach K?

I would go with Frank Martin too. Huggins would be a contender, and I like Jay Wright as a darkhorse.

I have a feeling Pitino would get some "hired help" on his side.

It's interesting to see a Huggs v. Martin matchup considering that Martin is in Huggs coaching tree. Mick Cronin is also in that tree and would get his arse kicked. Given his short stature, he might land a few "low blows" though.

To throw out another name, how about Rick Majerus. Once he gets you on the ground there is no getting back up.

Matta's schnoz look's like he's been in a few alley fights, it looks like he might have been on the losing end though.
