That was my first thought when I opened this thread.

I have never even heard of Port Clinton. Good luck beating something like 7+ D-1 college players at Northland. You can have your 3 All-Ohio players.

PC is in Div. 2, just barely, and Northland in Div. 1. Moved away from PC years ago but cheerning them on to go as far as they can. I know they have not made a regional since the end of WWII. Realistic Ron - you are full of BS. GO SKINS !!

Somebody will beat Port Clinton and this is coming from someone who's watched them play 15 of those 17 games this season. They are very good but best in the state? No.

Port Clinton is a good team but the kind of bravado shown by the creator of this thread always comes back to bite you in the behind.

Hicks and Francis from PC would be 2 of the 3 best players at Northland!!! Both are 6'6" and , handle the ball and move like a PG. Both will be BIG TIME D1 players !!

Interesting take, but incorrect, I have a feeling... lol. I wonder if I'll be seeing them down in C-bus. If so, I look forward to it.

Ive been following SBC teams long enough to know about PC and the Districts have no been very kind to them. Lexington and Mansfield Madison will be very tough to beat at Ashland.

What offers due Hicks and Francis have or have they committed already? Northland has two people going to Ohio State. If Hicks and Francis are big time they would have committed already and been a scout.com. Neither is. Sorry you fail!!!

This Ron fella is likely some punk kid, trying to pimp his classmates. Or he could be that kid that got kicked out of school there, and moved to Portsmouth? last year.

Port Clinton will be very lucky to get out of their District, as they rarely beat an NOL team in March. In all honesty, it might be best for their tourney run, if they'd drop 1 of their last 3 regular season games.

PC will never make it out of the districts...The SBC was the pits this season, & they have not really played anybody good all season....PLUS they nearly got beat by a losing team last week...

A few year's back a 20-0 Willard team that made regionals had to hold their breathe as Fostoria's attempt at the game winning shot went up and fell short. Kind of odd because that was a sub .500 Fostoria team as well but clearly that one game late in the season defined how good that Willard was or wasn't and what they would do in the tournament.

These kid's on this Port Clinton team are not like any Port Clinton team i've ever seen. Are they as talented as some of the team's in the past? Probably not but they do something none of those team's ever did and that's play as a team and play with heart. Win or lose friday night and tournament time i'm VERY proud of what these kid's have accomplished especially when you consider how very easy it would have been for them to go the way of redskin teams from the past.
