Well, if you miss going 7-3 or better, then something is wrong. I guess this may be the reason that the ECOL wants to put the other teams in a different football league sub division.
I would agree with that, and since 2004 Dover has mad an effort to improve their OOC schedule so that doesn't happen. New Phila on the other hand has not. Just by adding Zanesville and possibly Big Red isn't going to cause Dover to completely change their OOC scheduling. They might add in 1 "cupcake" into that mix. We all can't play powers like Wheeling Park, Wheeling Central, Indian Creek, East Liverpool, Morgantown, or Brooke every week.
The small and large division should help all schools involved with the league, with the possible exception of Coshocton, who enjoyed success while playing the larger schools in the ECOL. It will now be up to them to schedule comparable schools in their OOC slate.
Put any of those teams in the current ECOL and they would be beating most of the league.
You beat me to the post MOW.
ECOL W/L 50 - 45 VS Big Red 09' Opp W/L 114 - 53.

Dover 11-2 lost Region Championship game.
Mooney 15-0 Semi Final Championship game; where we got our helmets handed to us.
114 - 53 Big Red 09' Opp W/L
So yeah, your right. You better stick to the ECOL. Where over half of your teams are below .500 and 2 teams go 9-1 and miss the playoffs.
While your ECOL Champs were were held to 108 total yds, 59 of that on the ground and 38 snaps while getting their first 1st down, 4 minutes to go in the 3rd Qtr.
Because "POWER" teams like Brooke and Wheeling Central will beat you. And while the rest of your ECOL POWERS struggle with the likes of East Liverpool and Indian Creek (Dover excluded).
One thing you need to remember ......it all ROLLS THROUGH DEATH VALLEY and Region 11.
Now go watch some
And as Forest Gump liked to say "That's all I got to say bout that"
