I think instead of giving something up I'm just going to make sure I study and work out more.

When I was younger, our church's priest told our class that it wasn't as important to give something up as it was to attempt to do something difficult during Lent.
That being said, I am giving up pop because I feel like I am drinking far too much. But I am also going to try to call my parents more often. I don't call home enough...and I know it will make my mom much happier if I call home to talk every couple of days.

It was actually right after. He kind of used it as a comforting thing. He also said that we're guaranteed to get to heaven as long as we don't tell anyone what happened in there...so I could stab someone in the face, and then piss in their mouth until they drown...and I'm still getting through those pearly gates!ccrunner609 wrote: Was that right before he took you to his room?

Last year I gave up coffee and that worked great. One year later I don't need it everyday. However, I think this year I am going to go for the gold and give up fried foods.....yep I said it....fried foods.
I know that knocks out half of my Friday menu options, but it's time.
