Pride, Warren G. Harding has joined the Lake Erie Athletic League. It's a two-tiered league consisting of D-1 and D-2 schools. Last year, WGH, Boardman, Fitch, Youngstown East and Chaney made a proposal to the powers that be of the AAC to create a new top tier, only to be turned down.cmhs_pride wrote: I also know that Harding if I am not mistaken has joined another league in another galaxy or something. Amazing how we just cannot get it done without problems in this Valley. By the time the next season is half way through, at least two schools will be crying they want out of the AAC. Guaranteed.
I agree with you. Schools may well leave the AAC if Boardman and Fitch are accepted. If that does happen, perhaps the old Steel Valley Conference can be revived, adding small schools like Campbell, Struthers and Girard, three original members, back into the mix. How about a two or three-tier, big school, smaller school, small
school SVC?
