In regards to the Short-Track Speed Skating relay, Kimberly Derrick is from the Dayton area (Fairborn). I actually know most of the Short-Track and Long-Track Speed Skaters with my background.

It's not boring if you understand it. I do understand it and I find it to be very exciting.

At the risk of ruining my sexual credibility on this site (I know, like I had any to begin with! ...beat you all to it), in figure skating:

I'm really bummed that Sasha Cohen didn't make the cut to make it to the olympics. She won silver in '06 for the U.S. and then took a massive break (like 3 years) with basically no organized competition and this year was supposed to be her big comeback year since she announced that she was going to participate in the nationals and try to make it to the olympics. She finished 4th, and only the top 3 get to go. But I thought she had a great chance with her previous olympic experience if she could make it to Vancouver, to medal in these games and provide the needed leadership. Pretty much what I was looking forward to in this year's games, and just found out a few days ago that she didn't make the cut.

Is anyone else annoyed by the constant advertising for that stupid animated movie? "Imagining what the Olympics would be like in the time of dragons" is really getting old.

It's hard to retire from skating and then to come back. I watched her skate at Nationals. She just wasn't on top of her game.

That Dube chick looks pretty good for someone who took a skate blade to the cheek and had to have 80 stitches and plastic surgery

Anyone have a stream for USA vs. Switzerland? I can't find one that doesn't involve installing some crap on my computer.

^^^^It's the goalies area I guess.

3-0 USA after the 2nd. Backes, Ryan, Malone with the goals. Backes's goal was a beauty.
