How? Ohno had a hand on the guy.tk421 wrote: That's a crap call.
Sure, it wasn't much of a push but he had an open hand pushing outward on the Canadian. That'll get called every time

Hingsight is 20/20, but Oho didn't even need to make that move. The Korean skater went down anyway! The Korean skater's hand was about two inches away from getting sliced open by the lead skater.
The announcer way saying that the same call was made for Ohno in a previous race; the only exception is that Ohno didn't go down.

Ohno told Collinsworth in an interview he thinks it was home cooking from a Canadian ref

Ok....just saw the replay, and CLEARLY the Canadian touched the Korean skater causing him to fall in the last turn! No way should have Ohno been DQ if your not going to DQ the Canadian.

The Korean actually reached ahead and tangled himself in the Canadian.ou1980 wrote: Ok....just saw the replay, and CLEARLY the Canadian touched the Korean skater causing him to fall in the last turn! No way should have Ohno been DQ if your not going to DQ the Canadian.

Holcomb needs to either mix in a salad every once in a while or get a looser fitting piece of clothing.

The canadian clearly touched him first. He only got tangled with him on the way down. Also, there was definitely a delay between Ohno touching the chinese skater and him actually falling.ts1227 wrote:The Korean actually reached ahead and tangled himself in the Canadian.ou1980 wrote: Ok....just saw the replay, and CLEARLY the Canadian touched the Korean skater causing him to fall in the last turn! USA !!! Holcomb's team in 1st place. Steve Mesler is in that sled. He is a Gator, class of 2000 and was a track and field decathlete.

One of the Canadian teams had a dude that was ripped as well. Looks like he could be an NFL linebacker.ccrunner609 wrote:karen lotz wrote: Holcomb needs to either mix in a salad every once in a while or get a looser fitting piece of clothing.

Yeah pretty bold accusation to make, but Ohno can get away with that.ts1227 wrote: Ohno told Collinsworth in an interview he thinks it was home cooking from a Canadian ref
After watching the Canadian's touch on the Korean I don't know how they could justify dq'ing Ohno

Thank you to Geoff Bodine, the former Nascar driver from New York who took on the challenge to build an American bobsled with this as his goal for the last 15 years. I know he is riding high right now. USA !

I can't wait for the game today, though I won't be home till 4pm so I got the DVR set up to watch it when I get home. I will be avoiding internet, TV, Radio, until 4pm so I can get the DVR going and caught hopefully to live before the ending!
