I am currently reading The Dirt a book about Motley Crue and it talks about the crazy shit they did. I like this book a lot it gives a first hand look at what rockstars were really like.

Since I got 2 copies of Roy Williams' book "Hard Work" for Xmas(one is signed!!), I think I'm going to start it here soon.

could you include how much you like the book? i am always looking for good books to read on breaks... all i am reading right now are law books and they suck lol

In between books right now, but I finished "Desperation" by Stephen King last night. Vintage King, filled with evil demons, desolate environments, and tons of blood and gore. Not my favorite King novel, but still great.

Give it a 10 out of 10. Caution though, its not a book for everyone haha

The crazy thing though is that movie is basically only about 1 chapter out of that book. Can't wait til Assholes Finish First comes out

yeah thats what ive heard...it wasnt the best of acting but wasnt bad for a low budget movie

I haven't started reading it yet but I will be starting Cincinnatus: The Secret Plot to Save America soon. My wife bought it for her dad for Christmas and he said it was one of the best mysteries he has ever read.

Summary: Cincinnatus: The Secret Plot to Save America follows a washed-up caddy and a high profile Department of Justice attorney who are thrown together, as partners, by bizarre circumstances.

The two are forced to decipher a high-tech scheme which fixes the outcomes of major golf tournaments to fund a secret organization's Draconian plot.

The story begins in 458 B.C. when a Roman Consul, Cincinnatus, leaves his farm to assume lawful dictatorial control in order to save Rome from the barbarians. When the battle is won, he returns power to the Senate and goes home to plow his fields.

More than 2,000 years later, a high ranking officer of the Continental Army forms a secret society with 23 of his brother officers to preserve the ideals of the American Revolution. Just finished "A Thousand Splendid Suns", same writer as Kite Runner, and I actually liked it a little better as well. Gives an interesting perspective on Afghanistan...

I'm now in the process of reading 3 different books:
"History of the world in 6 glasses"- Parallels world history with the history of wine, beer, liquor, coffee, tea and cola. I'm about half way through, it's somewhat interesting, but nothing great...

"1812: The War That Forged a Nation" by Walter R. Borneman- 2/3 of the way through this one, and I really like it. Very interesting to me, as prior to reading this I knew very little about this war, and this book is very readable for a history book.

"The Illiad" by Homer- I've recently been on a kick where I want to read all of the classics that I was never exposed to in HS or College. I'm not very far into this one, but surprisingly I like it a lot so far.

I've also been listening to the audiobook of "The Brothers Karamazov" in my car. Really good so far, but I'm only on disc 3 of the 36 discs...

"Tough Choices" by Carly Fiorina... its a memoir about the former President of HP.... I'm stuck reading it for an ethics class, slow read so far but some decent business insights

I love it, wonderfully violent and the writing style seems almost biblical.

I just finished "Where Men Win Glory - The Odyssey of Pat Tillman."

Details the life of NFL player Pat Tillman and how he decided to sign up for the military after 9/11. Pretty much rips the bush administration and the Army a new one, but it was interesting for sure.

Its kind of self-explanatory Wooden on leadership. It is about how John Wooden views leadership. Didnt think it was that hard to figure out.

My Sister's Keeper- A little over halfway through. Pretty good book.
