Softball uniform = sponsor t-shirt & shorts.
We always get a good chuckle out of the guys that show up in baseball pants, stirrup socks, and the eyeblack!
This.
No offense to anyone here, but I was in my first adult men's softball league last year, and I thought a lot of things were hilarious...I'm 5 years out of high school, played a few years of varsity baseball, and I absolutely did not take softball seriously.
I show up the first week and everyone is walking around in their major league uniforms, eye black, wristbands with their number on them, jumbo sized high quality bat bags, shaved/doctored bats....I couldn't believe it, friggin hilarious. I wore shorts and a t-shirt, no hat, almost every game...I wore plain colored softball pants a couple weeks when it was cold. 70% of these people were 5-8 years out of high school, still partying and acting like they are in high school, and arguing with the umps like it was the world series, 15% were 40 year old drunks, and 15% were normal, cool people.
/end mens softball rant, sorry.
As for uniforms, if it were me, I'd have everyone get a matching pair of softball/baseball pants (no pinstripes... y so serious??) and a t-shirt with your number....Anything else makes you look ghey, in my opinion, of course.
