Kentucky drops 3 spots for one game they didnt show up for. While Syracuse jumps up to #2 after barely squeezing by Depaul? Makes sense. I guess it just depends at what time of the year a team loses.

Syracuse also beat G'town by 17. You know, the same G'town that handed Duke their head on Saturday. Syracuse was 2-0 this week with a very impressive win and Kentucky went 1-1. Not that hard to fathom how things shook out when it came to voting.

Agree some of those teams are weak, but UCONN and ND would finish in the top half of the Big Ten this season and in most seasons. Marquette would likely finish in in the top half most seasons, but not necessarily this season.

Is it because UConn lost to Michigan? Is it because UConn is 1-5 versus the RPI top 50? Is it because UConn is 0-4 in road games?

Is it because Notre Dame lost to Northwestern? Is it because Notre Dame lost at home to Loyola Marymount(11-12) ?

Is it just because you think it is so?

I should also point out that Syracuse didn't move up at all in the USA Today Coaches Poll (still #4) and they're only up to #3 in the AP, not #2.

Anyways, the Big East has 4 of the top 7 in one poll and 4 of the top 8 in the other. Wow. Villanova at Syracuse on February 27th is shaping up to be a big one. Could be for the regular season conference title.

No way. Big Ten has blown this year. Right now they are staring at 4 teams in the tourney with a chance Northwestern or Illinois make it. Northwestern needs to finish really strong. Illinois is probably out right now, but they have the OOC to put them in with a few more wins down the stretch.

Minny needs to go on a major tear to end the year.

Iowa, PSU, Indiana, and UofM need the B10 tourney to get in.

B10 looked good pre-season, but they have been pretty brutal in season.

Seriously? RU and DePaul are bad. The rest all have RPI's @ 73 or lower. Compare the Big 10's... Illinois-80, Mich.-129, Iowa-182, PSU-228, Indiana-229.
The Big 10 isn't as strong at the top or nearly as strong at the bottom.

Let's be honest here, UCONN has out of conference wins against LSU and Texas but they are in 13th place in the Big East. I think something like that speaks volumes.

What does beating LSU say?? LSU is 9-12 and losers of (7) straight.Their biggest win is over Western Kentucky, a team that has lost 5 of their last 6.

Think about it for a moment. UCONN is currently 13th in the Big East. Do you honestly believe they would be in the bottom two of the B10? Yes they dropped a game to Michigan, but teams lose on the round in College Basketball. Are you trying to convince me UCONN would not have taken the game at home and would be unable to beat Indiana, Northwestern, Penn State, Minnesota, Iowa on a regular basis and take one from some other higher ranked teams? I stand by what I said, UCONN would be a top 6 team in the B10 this year. I don't think that it is that crazy of a comment.

I am not trying to convince you of anything. I was just wondering on what you were basing your opinion.

Did you know that Indiana defeated Pitt(4th place in the Big East) on a neutral court? Did you know that Northwestern defeated Notre Dame in South Bend?

Again, I'm not saying the Big 10 is great. I am saying that UConn would be tested in the Big 10 in much the same way they are being tested in the Big East. UConn is ONE game away from a tie for 6th place. Given their remai ning schedule, I would expect the Huskies to end up about .500 in the league

They should go by who the better team is, in which UK is better, IMO
