Really? I personally don't want Harbaugh for two reason........he's not a proven commodity and I don't like the way he conducts himself. I thought the whole going for two crap, even if it was against hated USC, was bush league. Reminded me of Jimmy "pig face satan" Johnson.
If ND can't land Meyer or Stoops then they should pursue Brian Kelly, atl east he's proven that he can win where ever he's coached.
You don't like the way that Harbaugh conducts himself but you want Meyer or Stoops???? Meyer has been involved in some bush league stuff too. Running up the score and calling timeouts in lopsided games to rub it in. Stoops has been known to run it up in the past too.
Kelly has been lights out at Cincy and even though he turned things around at Central Michigan.....he went 4-7 and 6-5 in his first two years there. Stanford was bottom of the barrel when Harbaugh arrived and he went 4-8 and 5-7 in his first two years there and now has them at 7-3 and ranked in his 3rd year (Brian Kelly went 9-4 in his 3rd and final year at Central Michigan). Harbaugh also coached San Diego to 7-4, 11-1 and 11-1 in his 3 years there prior to his departure for Palo Alto.
To put things in perspective.....Stanford had won 16 games total in the 5 years before Harbaugh took over. So far in Harbaugh's three seasons there (season 3 obviously hasn't been completed yet), Stanford has won 16 games and is ranked for the first time since 2001.
