Big game tonight. I look for KSU to play out of their minds with the energy of the home court in the 1st half. KU to pick it up in the 2nd half and win by 8. Thoughts?

I like Kansas to make this a "statement" game, get a big victory, and come out of this weekend as the favorite to cut down the nets.

I actually agree with KU being impressive in this one. It just doesn't seem as prime for the upset as it was 12 days ago against UT.

This may be the best game I've seen all season.
Great crowd and great game. Aldrich doing an excellent job playing with 4 fouls.

Great road win for Kansas. I under-estimated KSU and look for them to have a great rest of the season.

What a poorly executed final 30 seconds for the Wildcats. That foul on Collins was so weak, but a foul. At least stop Sherron from scoring and make him earn it. And I won't even go into that last "box out" effort on Aldrich with Collins at the line.
Kansas showed plenty of resolve in the very tough Octagon of Doom (such a stupid nickname) and deserved to win. I doubt they come close to losing again for quite awhile. KU is legit and the national title favorite. UK and Syracuse are close in line, though.

The block with 5 second on the shot clock was great and he WAS NOT out of bounds. Then the foul on Collins...well he wasnt touched.
Great win for KU though. K-State is a very good team though, at least at home.

I don't know, I guess I'd have to go back and look. I thought he was touched, but maybe he wasn't. At any rate, it was weak either way.
K-State probably should have won, but KU did what was asked of them. The Wildcats remind me a lot -- talent-wise -- of last season's Wake Forest team. They have some nasty athletes and scorers, but can they keep it all together and not combust before March? I'm not so sure. They will be one of the toughest teams to pick come bracket time.

I was saying the whole game that the refs are gonna ruin this game for one of the teams, they just weren't very good from the opening second. Even as a KU fan, drunkenly, biasedly (is that a word?) rooting against KSU, I was even telling people that KU was getting quite a few calls..however KU also got screwed over on a few calls as well...just bad refereeing in general.
For really the first time all season, I came away happy with Cole Aldrich's play. He just hasn't seem to turn it on, until last night...what a beast he was. And Sherron Collins played one of his worst games of the year, but came up clutch in the end, which is all I could have asked for. He's so big time in the clutch, it's unreal.
On a side note, anyone know what the spread was going into this game? At the last minute, I put some money down with a friend on this game, I took KU -2.5...probably not the greatest bet on my part, but I was drunk and he owed me some money so we did double or nothing. Well, KU was up 5 with just a few seconds left, only to have K-state attempt a last second nearly half court meaningless shot and of course make it...costing me big time money.
