I have AT&T (I have an iPhone), and I absolutely hate it. Love the phone, hate the service (or lack thereof) ...

My service has went down since Alltel made the switch to Verizon. Plus last time i was in the Verizon store there were about 3 customers backing out of their contract after the switch because the network was so bad they could barely talk on the phone.

Someone scamming out of a contract. I work in telecom (not for VZ) and I can tell you their ads are correct. Nobody has a bigger network. Can you find a corner in the basement of a house in Holmes county that you won't get reception, sure with all carriers. But nobody has more literal coverage area than VZ.

it really doesnt have to do with the area of coverage, but the quality of that coverage. i have had 2 different phones since the switch and sometimes i get a buzzing noise in the background or the person i call cannot hear me at all or if they do, i sound like a robot and its garbled. never had that problem before with just Alltel(and one of those phones i had for during the switch, so its not the phone).
