In you're mind, what is the first day of the week, Sunday or Monday? I know that here in America our calendar begins on Sunday, but do you consider Sunday to be part of the weekend, or the first day of the week?

Now that I'm working rotations it's not so bad, but when I was in the office (and when I go back in ~2 months) I hated Mondays like no other. That's how I judge the start of the week, what day do I hate most? Monday.

In the US, it's Sunday.
In Mexico, it's Monday.

It's Sunday on the calendar, but I always think of Monday as the start of the week.

I agree with Monday being the first day of the week. Sunday simply can't be part of the weekend and be the start of the week all at the same time. I've always considered Sunday to be part of the weekend so Monday is the start of the week.

Even if I pick up hours on some Sundays I still consider Monday as the start of the week.

Monday is the start. Thursday is also the start of the weekend, despite people working on Friday.

Monday's the beginning of my week, while Sunday's the lazy end of it.
Apparently the beginning of this week is going just wonderfully, since I'm so braindead, I clicked on Sunday, though. FML...

I've always considered Monday the first day of the week, and Sunday to be the last day and the day to rest.

For me Sunday starts my week, only because that starts my work week. I work Sun-Thurs with Friday and Saturday off, so my schedule is a little off from what most would consider normal.
