I did it once on a day where I'd had a huge argument with a family member, followed by an OSU fan threatening me while grocery shopping for wearing orange and white.

I fail to see how anything on this thread constitutes me trolling, nor how a one-time thing constitutes a pattern.

The only message I have gotten that is crystal clear is the fact that you and a few others on this board are complete failures in life.

As a Florida fan I can tell you that you can shove Urban's two national championship rings up your ass if you think that this is some sort of ploy. He has legitimate, documented health concerns, but he loves coaching SO MUCH that he tried, for a day and a half, to completely un-involve himself from coaching and he couldn't even do it, much to the chagrin of his family.

If that makes him a joke, then what are you guys? Complete embarrassments to the human race?

Bull.

He's a liar and he can't be trusted.

If he's putting his health at risk because he "loves coaching SO MUCH" blah blah blah -- then add really stupid to liar, so far as my descriptions of the man.

I've done a complete 180 on Meyer, having loved him at BG and defended him to OSU folks when he took the FL job, saying he'd be successful there.

Coaching in the SEC has apparently degraded his character, though, because I see no other reason to start lying about stuff nobody gives a damn about, otherwise (his trip to the hospital after the SEC title game).

Now putting in all this time and effort to keep a recruiting class together that was OBVIOUSLY falling apart the minute he announced he was stepping down.

Again, it's too damn obvious he's lying about something here -- and I despise liars.

I go back to what I've said all along, concerning even ND........why do you guys give a rat's ass about Urban Meyer or anyone other coach? Really, he doesn't coach OSU and if he wants to risk his health to continue coaching why should you care, it's Meyer's life.

As for this "attention" theory, IMO, it's complete bull. For Christ's sake, his wife called 911, the tapes were all over TV. I guess that phone call was staged so they could draw attention to the Florida football program. Really, some of you are making more of this than what it is.

1) FWIW, this thread was started by a 'Canes fan.

2) It's January- coaching shenanigans (along with recruiting) are about the only things making headlines in college football

3) His wife called 911 the night after the SEC title game; his "resignation" didn't come until three weeks later- the week leading up to their bowl game. Then he changes his mind on a whim apparently, and all of a sudden his health and his family don't mean as much.
There's too many red flags here to just say it's jealous OSU fans making too much of nothing.

Yeah, God forbid people on a DISCUSSION FORUM should actually DISCUSS college football and the coaches who are in the news.

Seems pretty dum to me.

Yeah it is dumb because you're not talking about football but questioning someone's health issues and wheter or not they're phony issues to attract attention.......it's laughable and sad.

And these coaches take on the risk of having these discussions when they accept jobs at the elite programs.

There is nothing wrong with discussing the idiotic moves that Meyer has made over the past two months.

simply discussing *it* is certainly not dumb, posting unsubstantiated gibberish is, however...

regardless, you mean to tell me a college coach may have fabricated a story to bring in a 5 * * * * * athlete?

...ill be darned.

No one is taking shots, its called a discussion. Quit getting your panties in a bunch.

I don't agree with how he handled the situation, it makes him look like an idiot when he says one thing and then does another within a short timespan.
