How does a coaching staff allow this to happen. I didn't read the story, and I do know that sometimes there are just situations that are outside of the staff's knowledge or control (life happens), but this is kind of ridiculous. I'm not accusing Tubby. I love Tubby. I just would like to know how Nolen was doing so poorly that he essentially failed out of school without the staff even realizing it -- or, I should say, doing anything about. Or maybe they did. My goodness. The academics director on that team better start lookin' for a new day job.

Maybe they should just have people write their papers for them.
Sincerely,
Clem Haskins.

No, but somebody on that staff should be taking the onus on themselves to make sure the kids on the team up in Minnesota are balancing their play on the court and ability in the classroom efficiently.
Sincerely,

I was totally facetious. What Clem did was inexcusable, and I agree with your assessment.
