Of course Leno is not going to pull 10 mil viewers against new TV shows. Of course when the budget is smaller it makes up for it. And I really don't think NBC cares what local tv stations are crying about. Also you say that its the local tv stations are complaing? Did you ever stop to think that people are not watching them because they are just like WTVO 9 where they are bias, have poor weather forecasts, and report less and less on what is going on in the local community? I know I quit watching the news because I can get all I need on my computer, local news as it happens plus weatherbug. So I for one don't really care about local news.
First of all...it's funny that you are comparing numbers at 10 to numbers at 11:35 and trying to say that's why Leno is better.

And don't you think that the computer could be the same reason why Conan's numbers are down? In an age of DVRs and Hulu, and a target audience who utilizes those things more often than the older generation...it's no surprise that Conan's numbers aren't as high as they could be.

The bottom line is, Conan had a terrible 10:00 lead in with Leno's tanking show...he wasn't given nearly enough time to build up an audience (if you wanna compare numbers, look at Leno's numbers 7 months into the Tonight Show and compare THOSE to Conan's)...and NBC handcuffed his style and restricted the jokes that made him so popular. Those three things are all on NBC...not on Conan.

Enjoy your crappy late night host Manaze...I'm interested to see what NBC does when their numbers are completely horrible after this whole deal. Leno is going to completely BOMB now...and I can't wait to see that hacky shitty comedian go down in flames!

I feel bad for Fallon.

I know a few of the people who write for his show...and they are super funny people. But Fallon is still trying to find his style. And let's face it...he wasn't that great on SNL, so probably wasn't the best pick for a talk show host anyways. At first I kept saying I just wanted to give him time...but the longer it goes on, the more I think Fallon just isn't a late night talk show host.

Everyone agknowledges more people watch Leno than Conan. That's because Leno is a sell-out and panders to the lowest common denominator.

Chuck and the Big Bang Theory are more popular than It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, because old people feel more comfortable with them and stupid people find them easier to follow. But anyone with a sense of humor knows Sunny is way funnier. Similar thing with Jay and Conan.

(Insert celebrity) + (explain their current situation) = punchline involving another celebrity or current product on the market.

MANAZE really wants his Monica Lewinsky and OJ Simpson jokes back on at 11:35.

Those numbers tell me that a small percentage of people are actually watching TV at night making this Conan / Leno issue more talked about that it's really worthy of.

You bet your ass NBC cares what their affiliates say! They had stations threatening to pull Leno all together. That costs NBC money.

Sorry to say, but you are showing a bit of ignorance here. If you don't like Conan, fine. But just say you don't like him and move on.

Glad to see O'Brien off the Tonight Show.

I watched it when he first came on in order to be open minded and give him a chance. Quit watching after a couple of weeks and switched to Letterman...then to Seinfeld re-runs.

IMO Leno > O'Brien
