Alright, I can't believe no one has mentioned The Sopranos yet, I'm not sure I'd put it at the top but it is the runaway winner on the other board.

"Best" is so personal, but I believe my favorite, Hill Street Blues, deserves mention. It was a groundbreaking show in terms of ensemble dramas.

Finally!

I'm not sure I agree, but I'll say this, we were in Europe when the final episode aired and I had 3 people promise me they were taping/DVR'ing it, in addition to our DVR (in case the power went out).

Twin Peaks is the only one that ever maintained my interest.

COMEDY:
Simpsons (in prime)
Married with Children (in prime)
Monty Python's Flying Circus

Can't go wrong with any of those.

Comedy - Seinfeld and The Simpsons. I cant choose between those two.

Drama - LOST, Sopranos, 24 (first 5 years)

Nip/Tuck was great early, but jumped the shark way to quickly into its existence to be considered the best ever. Its prime was just to short, and it is just a bizarre show now. Im glad they are ending it after this season.
