I find it very interesting that if you check out JJ Huddle now the only forum that has all topics with today's date on the first page is "The Bleacher Seats". :exclamation: Of course the free one.

Sports/Trivia - only about 5 topics posted on in the last two days.
Northern Ohio Football - Can go back almost a week on the first page. I know it's not football season but even in the off season I never saw it go past a day or two.
Basketball - Even in mid season of HS Basketball you will see 2-3 days worth on the first page.
Lower topics like Cheerleading, Tennis etc. show no thread at all.

Even popular Mods aren't seen much of. I know that several them got let go but even MPD used to be good for at least 6-8 threads on Sports/Trivia but haven't seen him start many on the new S/T (Bleachers). Curious if they were told to take a low profile or maybe got tired of answering/handling the upset masses.

How long before the advertisers start to pull out, or do you think they can fudge the existing number enough to keep them?

They can only fudge the numbers for the advertisers so much. The advertisers really don't care how many people visit the site, they only care how many times their ads are clicked on. I work for a company that advertises on Google and we pay for each click on our ad. We can actually track how many people click on our ad, how long the spend on the site, and how many ad clicks are turned into customers. So unless Erik is clicking on the ads 100 times a day, then they can't really fake their effectiveness. It's also possible that while the site traffic may be way down that the ad clicks could be largely unaffected.

Even if he did do all the clicking, unless he had some kind of http proxy IP rotator, they'd be able to trace all the clicks to a common IP, and the advertisers would know something was up.

You say you do PPC on Google (AdWords, then)? What niche?

Did they ever remove my name from the Sports Trivia/Info mod list?

I was banned long ago but they still had my name on the Sports Trivia/Info board a few months ago when I exhausted the Dog Chapman name and created another name to stir things up.

IDK, I guess it depends on what the barometer for "fun" is.

I mean, I think most people had moved past the kind of "fun" that was posting childish/explicit things over on JJ's and showing it off at LEAST a month ago.

I'm not surprised a female member is upset. At jj, if you had a vagina, anytime you posted you got between 160-185 posts telling you how hot you were, here you maybe get like 2 or 3. Has to be a huge blow to morale.

This. I'm sure JJ has some other statistical analysis that counts traffic. I think Alexa compiles their data from IE users and nothing else (So if a million Firefox users hit their site and six IE users did, it would count as six total)

I'm quite sure upset isn't the correct description. Whether TB, or anyone for that matter, posts or doesn't post on here or on JJ has 0 impact on my life. I just call it as I see it.

As for the photo comments....I stopped caring about that well before I started posting on any forum, nor does the perception people on here or elsewhere have about me influence me. I'll leave that to those who adore me in real life ;)



And September63, it looks like we broke rank there. I'm happy to have nullified your argument.
