Good post Dr Ray!!! the kid can write. Just for your info. The hit before half. The loudest cheers did come after the hit and when he tried to get up and didn't. Dover will remember that. Sorry but true. You owned Dover last night, You were the better team. I'll quit posting for now and read your insults. Bring them on. I have had a blast, fun stuff till the end. I am still proud of Dover, and yes maybe next year.

this is a very under-rated BR team. If they can stay healthy for 2 more weeks they have a chance to make history.

They will NOT take Mooney lightly, and Dwight & Co. Have already faced this team last year.

Keep after it Dover...BR went through tough playoff losses back in the day...you are not exclusive to that.

Congrats to the Big Red. Sad my Tornadoes came up short. Regardless, today we are not Big Red red or Tornado Crimson but Buckeye Scarlet. Go Bucks!! Beat the stink weasels!

Another very strange game for Big Red!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although they dominated statistically and pretty much physically it still seems they lack that "smoothness in execution" or not fluid at times!!!!!!!!!!! Weird penalties, time outs that are meaningless and confusion are not supposed to happen this late in the year!!!!!! Especially when your plan is as basic as Red's is!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not being overly critical but they will need to play flawlessly!!!!!!!!!! If not I can't see them being able to hang with Mooney if this continues unless Mooney has similar issues next week!!!!!!!! Big Red has shown the talent and the resolve of a champion now they need to execute perfectly to climb the next rung on the ladder!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I'm at it "Where was this vaunted Dover Offense????" Passes under thrown, running backs non-existent what gives?????? Nice return game!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was extremely disappointed with this game overall from both teams but expected much more from Dover's "O"!!!!!!!!

Still on the hill overlooking the beautiful Bellaire burb of Neffs!!!LOL!!!!!!! Thanks for the shout out!!!!!!!!!!! I read this guys stuff on the Big Red-Mooney thread he sounds like he's got real issues with anything that doesn't put Big Red on that higher than anyone pedestal!!!!!!! I was at that game last night rooting for Red, as I will all valley teams(even the "Evil Village") but their last two games have not been up to their standards and I beleive most BR fans can see that they need to play better this week!!!!!!!!!!

Great job Red way to shut down Talk & Jaw for another year.

Liked the effort of the Dover team but execution was just not there on O. I can't believe you guys put up the points you do on some teams, who are playing their JV's, wow?

What a shame three Big Red defenders didn't take down Mam's on that 3rd & long or it would have been a defensive shut out.

Let's get healed up & ready for Mooney. If we are prepared for them the way we were for Woodland Hills, Massillon, Poland & Inkster the sky's the limit.

For Dover, the 2008 Regional Championship game was a disappointment - 2009 was not...

However, both games had one thing in common - our horrible LOS play...

When we solve the LOS problem - at this level - we WILL move on to the next level!

Make that two weeks in-a-row Dover's LOS play - especially offense - has played horrible...

Otherwise, we will be back next year - as strong as ever - you can Count on that!

Get it Done in the off-season Dover!

Didnt really get not running the spread to start the game ???
That is usually what softens the defense and opens up the running game.
We started out with a different look tonight instead of what has been successful for us.
Zahner was thrown to once in the first half, who knows?

Macon is a great athlete but no reason to taunt the Dover fans on the 3rd touchdown. Thats just asking for a flag.

Amazing that we still had a chance in the 4th quarter, just couldnt get a big play

I can say pancake, and I saw a lot of it. Maybe I don't know anything about high school football, thought I did but guess your right I don't. So I will take about 40 weeks and try my best too study up. Maybe watch more big red film. The team from Dover last night was not the team that got us this far. Your lines played great, ours did not. You play calling was ten fold ours. When I can see the wheel route coming to #5 again and again, and see that our DB's were off the LOS by 10 yards, I would have kept throwing the short hitch over and over too.

As much as I hate to say it, we were out played in all aspects of the game: except special teams. But we all know that dosen't win championships.

Yes, maybe next year Dover, maybe next year.

I kind of chuckled last week when someone said that Salem would beat Dover, but after last night I would have to agree.

Heck, I think Marlington (who was without their QB), was the best team we played so far in the playoffs. Both Salem and Marlington will be a force next year in Region 11.

Big red will need to contain MM inside the pocket and keep constant pressure! Dover's passing attack is not quite as spectacular as I'm used to from them, but their running attack is excellent! Big Red will need to establish the run! If possible Dover is in big trouble if they cannot force turnovers! Dover has the advantage on special teams!
Dover will need to sustain long scoring drives, if possible an upset is very well possible! I see this game being tight until about the fourth qtr when DEFWU begins to pay off!
Expect Big Red to throw alotta short passes and run the option!
If both teams can play mistake free I see this game being:
BIG RED 27

DOVER 17

If Dover can force TO's and get our offense off the field before they wear down on the defense it can be 24-20 the other way!
Good luck both teams may the best team win!

I hardly ever disagree with you but I must say Dover would beat Salem by at least 3TDs and Marlington also by that margin!
