I don't think there is a connection, other than playing against each other when Skippy was coaching ECU and Snyder was the coach at Marshall. What I wonder is why Skip fired former DC Joe Tressey? Tressey had only been on the job one season but has always been considered a solid DC.

It's all about recruiting, or at least that's what I've heard Little Danny. With Snyder's connections further North, it opens up a lot of the midwest for South Florida, who is really trying to make a move to get some elite talent.

Snyder was an awesome DC, Skip and Snyder will do very very well at USF.
