Manhattan Buckeye wrote: "And Favre...talk about the boy who cries wolf. I used to play hockey with someone who, no matter how hard he was hit, was guaranteed to struggle back to the bench and for at least another shift, then miraculously be fine."

I disagree, he's taken more hits tonight than a pinata on Cinco de Mayo....and these aren't pansy shoving hits after the ball is gone. These are big assed d-linemen and linebackers nailing him.
Favre has basically made a career out of it though. I can't remember if it was before this year or last when he talked about a couple of injuries that he had to play through with Green Bay, and they basically responded with, "Um, no you didn't. The shoulder was legit, this other stuff is ridiculous."

I just think he's become one of those guys who gets off on, if he doesn't make the perfect play, the fact that tons of people will be able to say, "Well, look how hurt he is! And he's still playing out there!"

It's so nice watching Peterson run, but he needs to hold that ball closer to his body, or he'll never cure his fumbling.

I will be shocked if the Vikings find a way to win this game. You just don't turn the ball over 4 times in a championship game and get away with it....
