That's pretty impressive. Scratch that. Incredible is a better word. Imagine if high schools didn't always put the freak athletes at the normal speed positions.

Dose he tie his track shoes yet or will he learn that at the advanced class at the U of M?

Good one I guess.

Not trying to make this a debate or anything, but I'm not sure OSU's football team has a player faster than Robinson.. idk about their track team though, some of those guys are insane.

I'm not sure ANY big 10 team has a player faster than Denard. If Denard chose to focus on track we are talking about a kid that could potentially be a olympic qualifier. This kid was turning 10.1 and 10.2 last year in high school while basically using track as something to do in the spring.

Looks like he ran a 10.92 in the finals in high school.

Yes, I do not see 10.1 or 10.2 speed from D rob. Find me the time to prove it.

100-Meter Dash
National
10.15, Henry Neal, Greenville, Texas, 1990
FHSAA
10.37, Jeffrey Demps, South Lake (Groveland), 2007 (2A)

Championship meet records only a 10.37 for florida. I'm sure Denard would have smoked that record if he was "always" running in the 10.1 and 10.2 in high school.

Nice to know he'll get a chance to beat OSU at something, because it's VERY unlikely he's gonna do it as a QB. :)

Interesting that Florida's 100m record with all this "speed" is only one one-hundredth of a second faster than Ohio.

He's fast, but no way in hell can you put him and "olympic qualifier" in the same sentence. He did nothing in HS to warrant that comparison.

Ted Ginn, when he was at OSU...certainly. Not Denard.

Robinson ran a 6.81 in the 60m dash today vs OSU, an event he won.

Congrats to him. Too bad there's a difference in track speed and football speed.

Would Thomas have competed in this race if he stayed at OSU.

I know he was on the track team.

Just that. Many times you'll read about a kid's blazing speeds, however, once the pads get put on, and they get on a slower surface, their times are slower. Yes he's fast... track fast.
