All these vacation threads got me thinking what I have snagged from a hotel.
My best snag was from Beau Rivage in Biloxi Mississippi a nice plush robe and ashtray as well. The robes might have been included in the spa package but I'm not sure. When I got the bill there was an extra 72 dollar charge but that could have been from damages incured to the room. No big deal really just a small hole where it was dark and I reached for where I thought was a chair but it wasn' t where I remembered.

^^^you're right, the Melia would be an absolute bargain discount if i wouldn't have snagged that towel.

The housekeeping lady was moping the floor where the ice machine was. Someone asked her if she could come empty the small trash can in their room so she followed them. I stole the mop.

Some friends of mine showed up real late to Put-In-Bay for a weekend reservation.

When they got to their hotel, no one was at the desk. They reached across, found their rooms in the card file (yeah, I know, antiquated system, but it's true) and stole their keys. They checked themselves into the room, then went back to the desk........still no one there, so, while looking around on the desk, they found the keys to the hotel's golf carts and pilfered a couple sets of those, too, and proceeded to load up a couple cases of road pop and do a few laps around the island.

Needless to say, after a couple calls to and from the PIB police, they were escorted to jail, where they spent the rest of the night, before being taken to the ferry dock, the next morning, to catch the first trip back to the main land,

I'd think if you took a robe and were billed an additional $72 ..... you didn't steal anything!..... but thats just me.... its your story.... BRO!

Like I said in the original post it could have been included in the spa package. I think the 72 was for the minor damage to the wall. If the robes were 72 than I got robbed lol
